Mrs. Helen “Lueteenya” Brown Logan, 65, a resident and native of Franklin, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 8:45 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital following a short illness.
She is survived by four daughters, Hendri Lutier Brown of Marrero, Jewel Lynn Thompson of Harvey, Yeil Fonetnot of Beaumont, Texas and Shirley Phillips of Jeanerette; one brother, Johnney Brown Jr. and his wife, Clara Bell, of Franklin; two sisters, Doretha Brown of Jeanerette and Carolyn Brown Turner of Avondale; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Mrs. Logan was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several sisters.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
