Duggan, the U.S. champion, World Championship Wrestling Television champion; and winner of the first-ever Royal Rumble match, will be in action at the event at Morgan City Junior High for the second consecutive year.
The event’s concession proceeds will benefit Morgan City Junior High. The school also will receive a portion of the ticket proceeds.
Duggan, who is nearly 59 years old, will be wrestling at the event, too, not just signing autographs and two-by-fours, said “Mustang” Mike Beadle, Gulf Coast Wrestling co-owner.
Morgan City’s show is one of multiple Gulf Coast Wrestling shows that Hacksaw will be competing in as part of the “Super Slam Weekend.”
He and the other wrestlers will be competing in New Iberia tonight and Abbeville Saturday morning.
On Sunday afternoon, GCW also will hold a show at the Addis Community Center.
Other participants this weekend include Mustang Mike, Psycho Mike, Stoneman, David Silver, The Rocket, Wild Thing, Minotaur, The Wolfman, Grizz, Kid Krash and Haniel T.
Tickets still remaining and are available for $10 today and $12 Friday.

The weekend’s festivities are meant to be held the same weekend as WWE’s Royal Rumble.
In addition to the wrestling, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Duggan will sign autographs at Courtesy Toyota in Morgan City. Tickets can be purchased Saturday at Courtesy Toyota, too.
