BALDWIN _ Jerald Hawkins scored a team-high 19 points, leading the West St. Mary Wolfpack to a 42-27 District 6-2A victory over the Loreauville Tigers Friday at the West St. Mary High School Gym.

Loreauville opened with an 8-3 first quarter lead before West St. Mary rallied for a 15-13 halftime cushion. At the end of the third quarter, the Wolfpack outpointed the Tigers by a 22-19 margin. Down the stretch, West St. Mary went on a 20-18 flurry to secure the 42-37 victory.

Hawkins led the Wolfpack with 19 points on seven floor shots and 5 of 7 free throws. Glenn Marsh poured in nine points while Jontrey Tillman tossed in eight with DeAndre Gabriel finishing with six points.

Raymond Bonnett led the Tigers with 19 points.

With the win, the Wolfpack moved to an impeccable 6-0 record in District 6-2A.

West St. Mary will play host to Jeanerette on Tuesday in District 6-2A action.
