Mr. Crandall B. Haydel and Mrs. Robbi Concienne Naquin of Franklin are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla Lynn Haydel to Marcus Kent Segura, son of Kent L. and Cindy LeBlanc Segura of Broussard.

Kayla and Marcus will exchange wedding vows on Friday, October 28 at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Franklin.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Beverly Dupre Concienne and the late Charles Ray Concienne Sr. and the late Sitges P. and Verdie Bolner Haydel, all of Franklin.

Kayla is a 2003 graduate of Hanson Memorial High School. In 2007, Kayla completed her bachelor of science degree in child and family studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and obtained her master of science degree in human resource education and workforce development at Louisiana State University in 2010. Kayla is employed with the LSU Agricultural Center as a youth development agent for Acadia Parish.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Madge LeBlanc LeBlanc and the late Nedier Joseph LeBlanc Jr. of Delcambre and the late Ulysse J. and Pearly Viltz Segura of New Iberia.

Marcus is a 2004 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor of science degree in general studies. Marcus is the owner and operator of Green Head Lawn Solutions in Lafayette.

The couple will reside in Lafayette.
