James Todd and Tonya Hebert of Charenton wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Mae Hebert to Cory John Montet.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Glenn and Judy Soprano of Charenton and James Terry and Sybil Hebert of Franklin. She is a graduate of both Sam Houston High School in Lake Charles and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as a loan assistant at Crescent Bank and Trust.

The prospective groom is the son of Ricky John and Rita Montet of Broussard. He is the grandson of Annie Castille, the late Earl Castille, Alton Paul and Myrtis Montet of Coteau. He is a graduate of Comeaux High School and is the owner of Cory’s Lawncare LLC.

The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, October 29 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lafayette.
