Members of Franklin Lodge 57 and DFC Ministries helped a local youngster’s Christmas wish come true this year. First photo, nine-year old Sabastian Mire of Charenton had one special request on the top of his Christmas list: to meet Troy Landry, from the television program “Swamp People,” and Landry helped grant that wish. Sabastian suffers from severe kidney illness. From left standing behind Sabastian are Lodge member Bro. Ronald Williams, Landry, and Bro. Blaise Smith, pastor at DFC Ministries and a Lodge member. Second photo, DFC Ministries helped the Hurst family of Franklin celebrate Christmas by providing gifts for the eight children and other support for the family.
