LSU’s Kenny Hilliard was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week following his performance against Arkansas on Friday.
Hilliard rushed for a team high 102 yards and a score in the Tigers’ 41-17 victory.
For the season, Hilliard has rushed 49 times for 248 yards and six touchdowns, and has caught two passes for five yards.
He and the rest of the Tigers will look to keep their record unblemished when they face Georgia in the SEC Championship game on Saturday. A win would assure the Tigers a place in the BCS National Championship game.
