Most parish and municipal offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. The exception is the City of Patterson which will close at noon Monday and remain closed until Thursday.

For the New Year’s holiday, all parish and municipal offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will close at noon on both Mondays and be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Morgan City’s Sanitation Department will not collect Tuesday routes. However, routes on both Tuesdays will be collected on the Wednesday following each holiday.

Progressive Waste Solutions will not collect routes and will be closed on Monday and Tuesday in celebration of Christmas. For the New Year’s holiday, it will also be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 with no route pickups.

The offices of The Daily Review and St. Mary Journal will close at noon on Monday and on Dec. 31, and remain closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Due to the closures, there will be no Daily Review printed for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The Review on Christmas Eve will feature its annual Christmas Edition filled with letters to Santa from local children.
