Framing on the three lake houses at Lake End Parkway has begun. The cabins will have a view of Lake Palourde with screened-in porches. The three cabins are the first of 18 planned to eventually be built. They are being constructed at a cost of $837,855 by LA Contracting Enterprises of Thibodaux. The state is picking up $575,000 of the tab.
