According to the Dept. of Transportation and Development, the closure, which includes the entirety of Acadia Parish, will begin each evening at 7:30 p.m. and will end at 6 a.m. the next day.
Weather permitting, the nightly closure will last two weeks, until Aug. 8.
The closure is necessary for the replacement of pavement markings, officials said.
