The inaugaration will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the council meeting room on the fifth floor of the courthouse in Franklin.
The ceremony marks the beginning of Naquin’s second four-year term.
Councilmen also to take the oath include at-large representatives Albert Foulcard of Franklin, Steve Bierhorst of Patterson, and Kevin Voisin of Morgan City; and single-member district representatives Butch Middleton of Franklin, David Hanagriff of Centerville, Glen Hidalgo of Bayou Vista, Ken Singleton of Patterson, Logan Fromenthal of Morgan City.
They will be joined by three new members — Butch Metz of Sorrell, Tim Tregle of Morgan City and Sterling Fryou of Amelia.
The regular meeting scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. includes election of the chairman and vice chairman from among the three at-large members as well as appointment of the council clerk, chief administrative officer and department heads.
A single proposed ordinance up for consideration would grant a specific use permit for County Line Golf LLC, described as a gentleman’s club at 8691 La. 182, in the Greenwood area of Morgan City. A public hearing on the ordinance will be called at 4:55 p.m.
Resolutions on the agenda authorize check signing privileges for the chief administrative officer and finance director and safe deposit entry by the president and chairman; an agreement with the state Department of Transportation and Development on LED signage upgrades at Harry P. Williams Memorial Airport; the call of an election in Fire Protection District 7, Bayou Vista, Saturday, April 21, on a $1.25 million general obligation bond; endorsement of participation by Gulf Craft LLC in the Quality Jobs Program; and a change order on the Thorguson Road project.
