Iota Eta Omega holds clinic

MEMBERS OF IOTA ETA OMEGA Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. convened in the Meeting Room of the South Louisiana Community College Site in Franklin recently for its annual Personal Development/Self Awareness Clinic. The activity is the second in a series of events leading to the Cotillion, which will be held in January 2012. Four of the six young ladies were in attendance, along with their parents or guardians, and chapter members. Member Doris Robert of New Iberia gave an informative session on “Preparing for College”, and also delighted the young ladies with pink and green gift bags. Monica Harding, co-chair of the cotillion shared a special video on last year’s formal ball and related activities. Refreshments were served at the close of the clinic. Other co-chairpersons include Constance Hulbert of Morgan City and Carolyn Jack of Jeanerette. Pictured from left are Peggy Ann Thomas of Jeanerette, Kiera Bashay of Houston, Shenae Monique Rudolph of Franklin, and T’lajahawaun Thibodeaux of Lafayette. Additional debutantes not present are Angele Gabriel Patterson of Napoleonville and Chelsea Mills of Napoleonville.
