Visitation will be Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Sorrell Community Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Rena M. Johnson of Jeanerette; five sons, Irvin Joseph Hills Jr., Tyrek Young and Darrien Ford, all of Sioux City, Iowa, Anthony Hills of Jeanerette and Kyle Hills of South Carolina; two daughters, Jodie Marie Conner of Patterson and Natasha Rand of Sioux City, Iowa; one brother, Carol Hills of Jeanerette; five sisters, Zelda Faye Bobbitt, Irma August, Mary Hills and Gwendolyn Charles, all of Jeanerette, and Carla Morton of Desoto, Texas; one grandchild, Amari N. Lockett of Jeanerette; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
