Joan “Tootsy” Campbell, 72, a resident of Morgan City, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at 3:55 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City Wednesday, April 4, from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Joan leaves to cherish her memories seven sons, Craig Hall of New York, Ronald Campbell, Raymond Campbell and Clarence Campbell, all of Morgan City, Glenn Campbell of Boston, Massachusetts, Levy Campbell (wife, Paula Campbell) of Centerville, and Henry Campbell (wife, Tia Campbell) of Franklin; six daughters, Wanda Lowry (husband, Darryl A. Lowry), Brenda Murray, Nancy Campbell, Sharon Dardar and Jessie Triggs, all of Morgan City, and Carol Neumeister of San Antonio; one sister, Vivian Jones of Verdunville; 25 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Hall and Elnora Kemp and her husband, Henry L. Campbell.
