John Etinine, 73, a resident and native of Houma, died Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 8:43 p.m., at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.

Visitation will be Wednesday at Christian Faith Fellowship on 130 Moffet Road in Houma, from 10 a.m. until funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

John leaves to Cherish his memory one sister, Evelyn Climax of Chula Vista, California; one brother, Tyrone Etinine of Patterson; devoted friend, Patrick Boudreaux of Labadieville, La.; a host of relatives and friends; and a prayer friend, Carolyn Baker Paul of Houma.

John was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and several aunts and uncles.
