James is survived by his loving wife, Lois Sampey Burgo; one son, Donald Burgo; one granddaughter, Diamond Burgo; one daughter-in-law, Dawn Stratton; two brothers, Louis Burgo and Angelo Burgo; two sisters, Angela Angelo and Dolores Keyser; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home and will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at 8 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. James will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service.
