Jessie Anthony Collier, born in Morgan City and a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away at the age of 45. Jessie was a welder by trade and worked in the Tri-City area.

Jessie is survived by his mother, Janet Gros Collier of Bayou L’Ourse; his son, Miles Collier; his two daughters, Malorie Collier and Chelsea Collier; his sisters, Tina Collier of New Iberia, Gina Collier Scarbrough of Morgan City, Elouise Collier Johnson of Bayou L’Ourse and Janet Collier Rock of Berwick; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jessie was preceded in death his father, Charles Daniel Collier Sr., and his brother, Charles Daniel Collier Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday at Hargrave Funeral Home, from 8-10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church beginning at 11 a.m.

Jessie will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
