Jessie Mae Dyer, 85, a native of Patterson and resident of Baton Rouge, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.

Visitation will be Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson.

Survivors include three sons, Lawrence Dyer Jr. of North Carolina, Johnel Dyer Sr. of Franklin and Donovan Dyer of Baton Rouge; five daughters, Joyce Dyer Johnson of New Orleans, Mary Dyer of Castro Valley, Calif., Anita Dyer of Oakland, Calif., and Gina Dyer Newton and Bernardine Martin, both of Baton Rouge; and two brothers, Alfred Woods of California and Lewis Woods of Thibodaux.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Jeanerette-Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
