Jimmie Johnson’s 16th annual free Basketball Clinic will be held at Morgan City Junior High School on July 14 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The clinic is open to boys and girls, ages 7-13.

Biddy basketball and AAU coaches will be on hand to assist.

Each player is asked to bring their own lunch, while drinks will be provided.

To participate, each player must have a permission slip singed by a parent or guardian. Permission slips can be picked up at any M C Bank location, the Morgan City Recreation Department, Skipper’s Sporting Goods or from Johnson at 220 Federal Ave.

Awards will be presented at the clinic’s conclusion.

Donations are appreciated and will be used to purchase school supplies and uniforms. Any used school uniforms in good condition also will accepted. These should be dropped off at 220 Federal Ave.
