Mike Kelly was hired for the position, in which he will handle all marketing, sales and business development activities for Phoenix underwater engineering and operational capabilities to the oil and gas sector.
He will be based in Houston and report to Phoenix’s president, Michael Kutzleb.
Kelly has 20 years experience in sales and marketing, with more than 10 years in oil and gas services and equipment. He has experience in offshore flexible risers and flowlines as well as subsea engineering.
New Phoenix market initiatives will leverage Kelly’s Gulf of Mexico and Latin America oil and gas services business development experience.
“The addition of Mike to our organization reflects the strategic importance of the offshore oil & gas market segment to Phoenix and a key initiative to expand our commercial business,” Kutzleb said.
