Lebaron “Skip” Washington, 61, a native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Morgan City, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at 7:50 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 19. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Lebaron leaves to cherish his memories a son, Labaron Washington Thomas of Mobile; a daughter, Amy Dumas of Mobile; six brothers, Thomas Monroe, Myron Monroe, Adrian Monroe, Allen Monroe and Horace Monroe, all of Mobile, and David Monroe of New Mexico; one sister, Lillian Mariette of Detroit, Michigan; four grandchildren; two uncles; and a host of relatives and friends.

Lebaron was preceded in death by his parents.
