MORGAN CITY — The Central Catholic Lady Eagles’ basketball team’s inaugural Lady Eagle Christmas Classic will begin Thursday and continue through Saturday.

Besides the host team, the event will include Terrebonne, Ellender, Jeanerette and Westgate.

Action will begin Thursday with a 5 p.m. matchup between Ellender and Jeanerette, followed by a 6:30 p.m. meeting between Central Catholic and Westgate.

Terrebonne and Westgate will conclude the day’s action with a 7 p.m. matchup.

Three games each are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Friday, Jeanerette will play Terrebonne at 4 p.m., followed by Central Catholic and Ellender at 5:30 p.m., and Terrebonne and Westgate at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Central Catholic will play at 1 p.m. vs. Jeanerette and again at 4 p.m. vs. Terrebonne.

In between, Westgate will meet Ellender at 2:30 p.m.

General admission is $5, while those under age 5 will be admitted free.
