Franklin started out with a 10-8 lead before the game was knotted at 15-15 at the half. North Vermilion held a 26-25 lead at the end of the third quarter before securing a 33-30 victory following a 7-5 spurt in the fourth period.
K. Faulk and M. Moss tossed in nine points each to power the Lady Patriots.
Dalyn Jones led Franklin with nine point while Karson Grogan and J’Ashayla Bowers fired in seven points each with Fabian Small draining six points and Faith Lyons one for the Lady Hornets.
Franklin will be off on Tuesday before playing host to Erath on Friday.
