“Tracy is dedicated to patient safety and responding to the health care needs of her community. She is constantly evaluating ways to enhance the services and care provided at Teche,” said Michelle Watson, chief nursing officer for LifePoint Hospitals’ Central Group, of which Teche is a part.
“Tracy’s leadership and loyalty to her employees, her hospital and her community is unmatched, and she is most deserving of this honor,” Watson said.
Rankin has served as chief nursing officer at the hospital since 2006. She worked at the hospital in various clinical roles since beginning her nursing career there in 1997.
“Tracy is an outstanding clinical and business leader and a crucial part of our leadership team here at Teche,” said Butch Frazier, Teche chief executive officer.
“She has been instrumental in expanding the services we provide our community and also implementing new technology to advance patient care. We are very proud to have her on our team,” Frazier added.
