The new baseball field at Cypress Park on Victor II Boulevard in Morgan City is progressing steadily. City leaders hope to have the park ready for play by midseason. The field will be a 200-foot Dixie Youth-regulation field and will host 8- to 12-year-old teams. Here, a Morgan City worker installs lights on one the four poles around the field.
