Lizzie Grogan Dangerfield, 86, a native and resident of Patterson, died Monday at 7:20 p.m. at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson with burial rites being read at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.

She is survived by four sons, Samuel Dangerfield Sr. and Daniel Dangerfield, both of Patterson, Aaron Daniel Dangerfield Sr. of Sorrell, and the Rev. Eliser Dangerfield of Birmingham, Ala.; five daughters, Martha M. Dangerfield, Mary Berry Hall and Toni Clay, all of Patterson, Tina Charlot of Bayou Vista, and Audrey Mae Hall of Houston; 50 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren, six sisters and nine brothers.

Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
