The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests overnight, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:

—Corey Malik, 34, of River Road, Berwick, arrested at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday at the sheriff’s office in Morgan City on a warrant for simple burglary after a vehicle burglary at a lounge in Berwick. This is the third arrest made for this incident, the investigation of which began July 16. Booked and incarcerated in the parish jail with no bond set.

—Darla Mayon, 47, of Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, arrested at home at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to comply with the conditions of drug court on the original charge of distribution of Hydrocodone. Booked and incarcerated in the parish jail with bond is set at $100,000.

—Victor J. Gaudet, 39, of South Verret Road, Amelia, arrested at home at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday for domestic abuse battery. He is alleged to have committed battery on his wife. When deputies responded, they could hear from outside the home two people yelling. Released on a $2,500 bond.

The Patterson Police Department reports the following arrests overnight, according to Chief Patrick M. LaSalle:

—Derrick Dugar, 22, of Murphy Street, Patterson, arrested on Marie Street at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday for domestic abuse battery and resisting an officer by force. Remains incarcerated awaiting bond hearing.

—Tobias Morales Madrigal Jr., 30, of Tiffany Street, Patterson, arrested at 2:26 a.m. today for driving while intoxicated first offense, speeding 72 mph in a 55 mph zone, and no driver’s license on person. Remains incarcerated with no bond set.

The Berwick Police Department arrested two females at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at their home on Fourth Street after a “large fight,” according to Chief James Richard:

—Renita Bias, 27, charged with aggravated second battery, and her actions sent one subject to Teche Regional Medical Center by Acadian Ambulance.

—Judy Bias, 51, was charged with principal to aggravated second degree battery.

Both were transported to the parish jail and both remain incarcerated awaiting bond.

The Morgan City Police Department made one arrest yesterday, according to Chief Marc Folse:

—Burnell Narcisse, 47, of Keith Street, Morgan City, arrested at home at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday for domestic abuse battery after a report that he battered his girlfriend. Officers responded and observed evidence of a battery on her person. He remains incarcerated with a $2,500 bond.
