BALDWIN — Nearly 120 youths were eager to workout under the watchful eyes of NFL players, college players and local coaches during the first annual West St. Mary High School 2011 NFL Football Camp Saturday at the WSMHS.

Camp activities opened with local campers receiving T-Shirts while WSM Coach Ryan Antoine offering opening remarks prior to Rev. Anthony Mitchell offering a wholesome prayer. West St. Mary Prinicipal Dr. Derrick White welcomed the huge gathering of campers, NFL players, local players, coaches and parents and grandparents before Baldwin Mayor Wayne Breaux gave his remarks.

Coach Ryan Antoine introduced the NFL players Nate Livings of the Cincinnati Bengals, Anthony Collins of the Cincinnati Bengals, Harry Coleman of the Hartford Colonials, Benny Brazelle of USA Track and Craig Brodie, former player at Central Missouri University in his closing remarks.

A special thanks was offered to the camp sponsors, adult volunteers as well as the student voluteers and the public officials in attendence.

After opening ceremonies, all campers moved to the West St. Mary practice field for drills at six different stations.

Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Nate Livings led the drills, directing players to the different areas where _ enthusiastic youth from the Pee Wee league to high school _ worked out in precision under the guidance of NFL players, college players and local high school coaches.

The first annual West St. Mary High School NFL 2011 Football Camp ended with a special meal as well as an awards ceremony.
