Staff Report

Central Catholic and Morgan City high schools hosted a Metro swim meet Sept. 15 at South Central Louisiana Technical College’s Young Memorial Marine Campus pool in Morgan City.

The meet also featured defending Division 3 boys’ and girls’ state champions, Vanderbilt Catholic, as well as E.D. White.

CCHS swimmers Gage Green and Ryan Ratcliff posted state qualifying marks in two events apiece. Green qualified in the 50 freestyle and 100 breastroke, while Ratcliff posted a state-qualifying mark in the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle.

MCHS’ Andrew Albritton also posted a state Division 3 qualifying mark in the 200 Individual Medley.
