Jarrod Longman, left, took the oath office Friday to begin his second term as St. Mary Parish assessor. Longman was elected unopposed to his second term during 2011 fall elections. The term runs from Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2016. He was issued the oath by Morgan City City Court Judge Kim Stansbury.
