The Morgan City High School baseball team will host its annual Kid’s Clinic and Fish Fry on March 23 at Tiger Diamond in Morgan City (next to the football stadium).

The event, which will begin at 4 p.m. and ends around 8 p.m., is open to all boys and girls, ages 5-13.

The cost to participate in the clinic is $30 and includes a T-shirt and a snack. Clinic registration will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Checks should be made payable to MCHS Baseball and applications can be dropped off at MCHS or mailed to MCHS Baseball, Attn: Coach Marc Gonzales, 2400 Tiger Drive, Morgan City, LA 70380.

The clinic is intended to teach young baseball players the fundamentals of the game. Players will rotate around the field to learn about each position, as well as base running and hitting.

Participants should be dressed in baseball attire and bring their gloves, bats and helmets.

In conjunction with the event, a fish fry will be held. Fish dinners will be sold for $6.
