MORGAN CITY — The Morgan City High School Tigers’ annual A&E Basin Bengal Classic will begin today and continue through Saturday at both Morgan City and Berwick high school baseball fields.

Today’s action will begin in Morgan City with a 3 p.m. matchup between Central Lafourche and Vandebilt Catholic, while Morgan City and H.L. Bourgeois are expected to follow at 6 p.m.

In Berwick, Assumption will face Thibodaux at 3 p.m. today, while Ellender and Berwick will meet at 6 p.m.

Friday, Vandebilt Catholic and Thibodaux will play at 3 p.m. in Morgan City, followed by Welsh and Morgan City at 6 p.m.

In Berwick, Assumption and H.L. Bourgeois will play at 3 p.m., followed by Central Lafourche and Berwick at 6 p.m.

Saturday, action in Morgan City will begin with Thibodaux facing Morgan City at 9 a.m., followed by Assumption and Welsh at 11:30 a.m.

Ellender will meet Welsh at 2 p.m. and Central Lafourche and Morgan City will conclude the day’s action at 4:30 p.m.

In Berwick, Ellender and H.L. Bourgeois will meet at 9 a.m. and Vandebilt Catholic and Berwick will play at 11:30 a.m.
