Miss Annie Mae Brown, 50, a resident and native of Franklin, died Monday, October 1, 2012, at 9:15 p.m., at Lafayette General Medical Center following a short illness.
She is survived by her companion, Arthur Charles Jr. of Franklin; one son, Arthur Charles IIII of Franklin; one daughter, Jhelani Charles of Franklin; two sisters, Debra A. Charles and Sharon Brown of Franklin; and one grandchild.
Miss Brown was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Visitations will be observed Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Cemetery in Franklin.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
