Miss Earline R. Jackson, 71, a resident and native of Franklin, died Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 5 p.m., at Franklin Health Center following a short illness.
She was a St. Mary Parish schoolteacher for many years.
Miss Jackson is survived by one daughter, Ashley Jackson of Franklin; and three grandchildren, Auston Gordon, Daylee Thomas and Allon Thomas of Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, September 8, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Allen R. Randle officiating.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
