The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sophia Mallet and the late Earl Mallet.
The prospective groom is the son of Tracy Welch. He is the grandson of Naomi Welch and the late Donaldson Welch.
The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, June 2 at 4 p.m. at St. Joseph Baptist Church in St. Joseph. A reception will follow at the Franklin Recreation Center.
