The shooting occurred early Monday at a private party. A 21-year-old had been shot in the leg.
Jontrell Ford, 27, of Batchelor as allegedly the shooter.
Deputies later found his truck parked on the bridge, from which Ford allegedly called a family member to say he intended to jump.
A river search continues.
