A Patterson man was arrested by Louisiana State Police for juvenile pornography.

Michael Stedman, 27, of Watson Lane in Patterson was charged at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday with pornography involving juveniles.

Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle said Stedman was arrested in Patterson and booked into the Patterson Jail after a State Police investigation.

It was unclear whether the juvenile pornography charges involved possession or manufacture. Further details were unavailable from State Police Troop I this morning due to the holiday.

Stedman remained incarcerated this morning with no bond set.

In unrelated action, Tony Brown, 49, of Mercury Road in Bayou Vista was charged at 7:36 p.m. Thursday with third offense driving while intoxicated, improper lane usage, failure to use turn signal and driving under suspension.

Brown was stopped on La. 182 in Patterson on a traffic violation, LaSalle said.

He remained incarcerated this morning with no bond set.

Darlene Trimm, 41, of Freeman Street in Patterson was charged at 12:09 a.m. today with possession of prescription pills without a prescription.

An officer received information that Trimm was in possession of Xanax without a prescription and located her leaving a business on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. After receiving consent to search, the officer located an unlabeled pill bottle in her purse that contained the medication, the chief said.

Trimm remained incarcerated this morning with no bond set.
