Man tries to steal copper at substation, electrocuted

HOUMA – A Houman man died when electrocuted trying to steal copper wire from an electric utility substation.

Terrebone sheriff's deputies said Timothy Lewis, 34, broke through a fence at the distribution substation and was killed when he cut through a ground line with wire cutters.
