Margaret Fisher Fink, 98, a native of Plymouth, Pa., a past resident of Plainview, N.Y., and a longtime resident of New Orleans and Morgan City, passed away, Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at her home at Maison Jardin.

Margaret enjoyed being creative. She was known for knitting, making ceramics and her needlepoint. Many of her creations were given to her family as gifts for holidays and birthdays with the intent that they be treasured forever by her loved ones.

Margaret is survived by her loving son, Frank G. Fink and his fiancée Karen Froreich, both of Patterson; her four grandchildren, Lisa Thatcher of Patterson, Trista Neely of Atlanta, Daryl Fink of San Diego and Allison Fink of Atlanta; her seven great-grandchildren, Tayler, Owen and Alexis Thatcher, Caitlan, Madison and Trinity Neely, and Kingston Christopher Fink; five nieces and nephews, Geraldine, Carole, Elaine, Michael and Robert; and her beloved pet, Shubert.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Frank J. Fink; her parents and 12 brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City with funeral services being held that evening at 7:30 p.m. with Father Angelo Cremaldi officiating the services.

Visitation and services will conclude later in the week under the care of Piszczek and Desiderio Funeral Home in Mountaintop, Pa.
