The 2011 football team, coaches, faculty, staff and Athletic Association of Hanson Memorial High School invite all alumni and supporters to the Nov. 4 football game for a special tribute to the late Coach Richard McCloskey.

The Tigers’ game against Gueydan will be played at McCloskey Stadium at 7 p.m. that night.

The game will be in honor of “Coach Mac” in memory of the 25th anniversary of his death. A meal will be served in the cafeteria before the game where videos of coach and his teams will be shown. The cost of the meal is $8 per plate.

There will also be a special half time program in honor of McCloskey. Players under Coach Mac will be asked to go on to the field at half time, wearing their jersey if they have it, in honor of McCloskey.

A special football program is also in the works for that night and there will be a T-shirt in honor of Coach that can be purchased at the game. For more info, contact Corrie Uze’ at (337) 278-7540.
