The championship was played over 18 holes on Sunday morning with all golfers playing the first 18 holes and turning in scores. The top 4 scores and any score within 5 strokes of the lowest score would play 9 more holes for the title. Bobby McDonald shot a low round with a blistering 73 one over par. He was followed by Ty Burdett with a 75, Bob Senette with a 79 and Robbie Senette with an 80. These four golfers then moved on to play nine more holes for the championship. Over the next nine holes McDonald was able to hold off his challengers by shooting a steady 39 tying with Burdett who also shot a 39. Robbie Senette shot a low round of 38 but was unable to overtake McDonald. Bob Senette finished with a 42. Total scores had Bobby McDonald as overall champion with a final score of 4 over par 112, Ty Burdett in 2nd place with a 6 over par 114 and 3rd place Robbie Senette with a 10 over par 118. Narrowly missing the championship flight by one stroke were Brandon Burdett, Garrett Burns and David Naquin all shooting first round scores of 81. They played off for honors in the 1st flight in a sudden death format where Naquin was eliminated on the first hole after making a bogey. David Naquin did supply the field with a spectacular hole in one on the 120 yard par 3 sixth hole during regulation play. Burdett and Burns moved on to the par 3 6th hole, where Burdett pared and Burns bogeyed allowing Burdett to defend his 1st flight title from last year.
