Minter receives BVGC scholarship

ASHLEIGH MINTER, a 2011 Berwick High School graduate, was the recipient of the Bayou Vista Garden Club $500 Scholarship. Minter plans to major in elementary education at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. She is the daughter of Jennie and Wayne Aucoin of Bayou Vista and Dan Minter of Houma. BVGC President Gloria Roy, seated, presented the award.
