The Louisiana Center for Women and Government, headquartered at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, seeks registrants for the Louisiana Women’s Leaders Conference on Small Business Entrepreneurship slated May 3 and 4 at the Renaissance Hotel in Baton Rouge.

Keynote speakers include Joan Lunden, former host of “Good Morning America” and best-selling author; Moira Forbes, publisher of Forbes Woman; and Dr. Sam Bacharach, professor at Cornell University, director of the Bacharach Leadership Group and best-selling author. U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu and Wendy Vitter, wife of U.S. Sen. David Vitter, will serve as honorary co-chairs.

The conference purpose is to empower women who seek information that will lead to economic wellbeing.

Keynote speakers will offer insight into personal reinvention and non-traditional business opportunities. Breakout sessions will focus on legal, credit, financial and technology issues.
