LEROY _ North Vermilion’s Lady Patriots turned back the Franklin Lady Hornets 50-16 here Friday in District 9-3A action at the NVHS Gym.

Chacie Sonnier led the Lady Patriots with a game-high 12 points.

Fabian Small led the Lady Hornets in scoring with 10 points on five field goals.

Quanta Jones added four points while Sadie Payne had two points for the Lady Hornets.

Franklin will return to action next Friday at Kaplan in league play.
