Glenn and Pamela Naquin of Baldwin wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Lynn Naquin to Scott Clinton Breland.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Louisiana Technical College, Teche Area Campus. She is the granddaughter of John and Clista Owns and the late John and Janet Naquin. She is currently employed as a claims supervisor at Walmart.

The prospective groom is the son of Clinton and Sharon Breland of Pine, La. He is the grandson of the late Robert Breland, Linda Breland, the late Will Jarrell and Eloise Jarrell. He is a graduate of Louisiana College in Pineville and is currently employed as youth pastor at Little Pass Baptist Church.

The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, August 27 at 2 p.m. at Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton.
