Natchitoches mayor says three terms enough

NATCHITOCHES – Wayne McCullen says 12 yeras is enough and he'll not seek a fourth term as mayor next year.

McCullen, 64, was first elected mayor in 2000, succeeding long-time mayor Joe Sampite.

McCullen served 20 years on the Natchitoches City Council, where he served as councilman at-large, before winning the mayor's seat.

McCullen said he looks forward to spending more time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
