Winners in the 2-mile “Fun Run” held last weekend to benefit Franklin Fire Department employee Louis Boudreaux were: top male, Bill Thomas, with a time of 16:53, and top female, Alicia Phillips with a time of 18:47. In the Duathlon, combining the bicycle event and run, top male open winner was Lynn Lipari with a time of 59:28 and top female open winner was Beth Falterman with a time of 1:21:38. The event was sponsored by the volunteer fire department to assist Boudreaux with medical bills and other needs.
