A New Orleans man was killed Tuesday when ejected from a vehicle rolling off I-10 near milepost 69 in Acadia Parish.

State Police said the vehicle was east-bound in mid-afternoon when for an unknown reason it crossed from the outside lane into the inside, began veer right and started to rotate.

Troopers said it left the road and began to roll, ejecting Antoine Jackson, 34, of New Orleans, who was killed.

Two others, C. Bader, 28, of Metairie, and Timothy Cushing, Jr., 29, of Kenner were injured.

Police early today had not yet determined who was driving the vehicle.
