Cajun Land USA is developing a 124-room extended-stay America’s Best Value Inn, which has been framed. Later phases may include a travel plaza with convenience store and video poker casino. They are also interested in developing a strip mall, RV park, mini-storage, restaurants and other retail businesses. The hotel development is located on Lake Palourde Bypass Road in Amelia.
