No injuries in Ricohoc fire Monday morning

The Centerville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in Ricohoc at about 1 a.m. Monday morning.

The single family dwelling at 5900 La. 182 was heavily damaged by fire and smoke, according to reports by CVFD spokesman Jody Pillaro.

A single occupant of the house was able to escape unharmed and no other injuries were reported.

Pillaro said the cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation.

Firefighters from Franklin and Patterson provided mutual aid.
